Over the past week to 10 days, I have found gnats (?) 6-7 or more at a time, flying around my bathroom. They are not dark and "fuzzy" like drain flies but more like fruit flies. I even placed a dish of apple cider vinegar with a drop of Dawn dish soap in the bathroom to try to trap them (this works with fruit flies) and they weren't interested.
