I used all normal quality furniture. If someone doesn't want to stress about getting good or even better quality furniture/art just to have a smaller sized. My process for creating the bedroom was an enclosed 4x4 room with a crib, and then I added each of the single, double, and royal beds individually.

When I added a second one of the adult beds, and enabled the Room Overlay (hotkey G), it changed from Bedroom to Barracks. I then replaced one bed and filled the entire space with cribs. Tried replacing the bed with a royal one, expanding the room slightly, and adding an additional (legendary) marble sculpture.

I think there's a bug where a owned crib is invalidating bedrooms for married colonists. The noble, even sleeping in the room doesn't recognize their bedroom as being personal, or royal, until the crib is moved. Has anyone else experienced this?
