Peter Fagan Originals Peter has continued creating bear and cat collectibles since Colour Box closed in 2000. Here you can explore his most recent work. The cats were an enormous hit and the Colour Box Teddies, which first appeared in 1987, have also been hugely popular.
The Teddy collection, many modelled on Peter's own antique teddy collection, reflects all styles of teddy bears. Each teddy is accompanied by its own story. The Teddy Bear Collection was first launched in 1988 and were modelled on original bears from Peter's own private collection.

A collection of sixty-three single teddy bear miniatures by Peter Fagan, representing all the original bears purchased at Christie's South Kensington from 1989 to 1993 for the Colour Box hug. Mounted on wooden plinths, this collection featured resin bears coated in silver-plate, and each bearing a hallmark. Working with other artists, Colour Box also launched the Bearies, a range of bears with fairy wings and the Animal Antics range.
