When shopping for bathroom fixtures and fittings, it's crucial to understand the returns policy of the retailer you're buying from. This is especially true for larger purchases, as you want to ensure you can return or exchange items if they're not as expected. This guide will walk you through the big bathroom shop returns policy, helping you make informed decisions and shop with confidence.
Understanding the Big Bathroom Shop Returns Policy
The Big Bathroom Shop, a leading online retailer for bathroom products, offers a straightforward returns policy to ensure customer satisfaction. Their policy is designed to give you peace of mind when shopping, allowing you to return or exchange items within a specified timeframe if you're not completely satisfied.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in its original, undamaged packaging
- Purchased within the last 30 days (for most items, some exceptions may apply)
- Not a bespoke or made-to-order item
Exclusions from Returns
Please note that the following items are not eligible for return:
- Electrical items once they've been used or unsealed
- Sale or clearance items
- Items with a hygiene seal that has been broken
Initiating a Return
If you wish to return an item, you can initiate the process through your Big Bathroom Shop account or by contacting their customer service team. Here's a step-by-step guide:
- Log in to your account and go to the 'Order History' section.
- Find the order you want to return and click on 'Return Item'.
- Select the item(s) you want to return and the reason for the return.
- Choose whether you want a refund or an exchange.
- Print the return label (if applicable) and pack the item securely.
- Drop off the package at a post office or arrange a collection (if using a carrier service).
Refunds and Exchanges
Once your return is received and inspected, The Big Bathroom Shop will process your refund or exchange. Here's what you can expect:

- Refunds: If you're due a refund, it will be issued to your original payment method within 3-5 working days after the item is received and inspected.
- Exchanges: If you've requested an exchange, The Big Bathroom Shop will send you the replacement item once they've received and inspected the returned item.
International Returns
If you're an international customer, please note that return shipping costs are non-refundable. It's essential to keep your shipping receipt as proof of postage. Additionally, you're responsible for any import duties or taxes incurred during the return process.
