Foundations of Festive Sketching
Starting with the right approach ensures the experience remains stress-free for both parent and child. The goal is not to create a masterpiece but to engage in a fun, low-pressure activity. Keeping instructions simple and focusing on recognizable shapes is the key to success for young artists.
Simple Shapes, Big Results

- Break large subjects into manageable parts.
- Encourage experimentation with size and proportions.
- Celebrate the unique interpretation of each simple drawing.
