I just confirmed what was installed in yesterday's OTA update (4/16/2025).
Software version is from 11/20/2024. Firmware from 10/15/2024. Even the Navigation App version is from 11/12/2024.
Compared to previous updates, it's odd that the versions installed are so dated. No idea what it's for but the Hyundai Maps and Navigation website still shows those updates are paused until 4th quarter of 2025. (Paused) April 2025 Navigation Map and Software Update > Notice Official Hyundai Motors Navigation Update Website One TSB says that the SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR MULTIMEDIA KEYBOARD (MKBD) LOGIC IMPROVEMENT (SERVICE CAMPAIGN TCL) could be delivered via OTA.
I agree on the "wait and see" since this is really the April release. Based on past updates this will probably be pulled back and rereleased in October. I guess the normal October release will come out in April 2025.
Personally I would prefer that the map updates were completely separate from the system updates. To update, visit the map update website and install the Navigation Updater program onto your PC. Use the program to download and install the latest map, points of interest, and software. I did not see any obvious major changes to the update at this point.
Map date is Nov 27, 2024. Notification states: "The Map has been updated. Latest Updates Check for infotainment software updates Find the latest software for your Vehicle.
Check your current version and download the update. The Map has been updated The Map has been updated with the latest road information Navigation updates for some 2024 and 2025 model year vehicles are not available at this time. However, they are expected to be available in the near future.
