For the remaining 2016-2018 model years of the BMW 3 Series in its F30 generation, a new base 2.0L turbo-four engine produced 180 hp in the 320i, while the 335i became the 340i, now with 320 hp. One correction - the M 340i was introduced in 2020 (I think). 2016-2018, there was the 340i.
