Bmw Transfer Case Oil Wear Code

I got my new foxwell NT530 scan tool and was playing around with it today. I did a complete scan of my vehicle and I come up with 440102 transfer box (VTG) oil wear. I changed the gearbox oil and tried an adaptation reset and it keeps coming back with that code.

Code 440102. had my transfer case serviced,along with gearbox and engine,happy days,i supplied the oil for transfer case£34 for 1 litre robbin twats,also last owner gave me cabin/oil/fuel/air filters and oil for engine service,so all in i paid like £550 and £34 for oil,DWMOTORWORKS throckley near newcastle.

Oil should already have been changed. You do the quick test which gives the X by transfer case, highlight the transfer case, continue and run the system test.
That gives the option to change the fluid and reset the case. You choose this and you can hear the case going through some movement presumably moving the clutches for resetting. « Previous Thread Next Thread 54c6 code.

It looks like it could mean "under voltage detected" if I have lmv_g70 ECU variant. Which I have no idea if I do lol it's a 2016 X5 50i.
