Jenga, a classic block-stacking game, is a staple in game nights and family gatherings. Its rules are simple yet engaging, making it accessible for players of all ages. Let's dive into the basic rules of this beloved game.

Jenga is played with 54 wooden blocks, each measuring 2.5 x 1 by 1.5 inches. The blocks are stacked in a tower with three blocks per level, creating 18 levels in total. The goal of the game is to remove blocks from the tower and place them on top, without making the tower collapse.

Setting Up the Game
The game begins with setting up the Jenga tower. Start by building a stable base with three blocks side by side. Then, stack three more blocks on top, perpendicular to the base. Continue this pattern until all 54 blocks have been used, creating a tower 18 levels high.

Once the tower is built, the game is ready to begin. The player to the left of the builder goes first, and play continues clockwise.
Gameplay

Removing Blocks
On your turn, you must remove one block at a time from any level except the top one. The block must be removed by pushing it gently from the side, not the top or bottom. Once you've successfully removed a block, place it on top of the tower, centered and balanced, to start the next level.
If you accidentally knock over the tower while removing a block, you must leave the block where it is and your turn is over. The same goes if you drop a block while removing it or if it falls while you're placing it back on top.

Winning the Game
Gameplay continues until the tower becomes unstable and collapses. The player whose turn it is when the tower falls loses the game. The other players cheer, and the winner gets to gloat about their strategic block-removing skills - until the next game, of course!
Jenga is a game of skill, strategy, and a bit of luck. It's all about finding the right balance, both literally and figuratively. So, gather your friends and family, build that tower, and let the good times roll - or topple, as the case may be!
