Who is Tiny Shiny Home? Previously the BareNeckers, Jonathan & Ashley Longnecker & their 4 amazing kids explore family adventures, full-time travel & off. The tight-knit clan of six - Jonathan, Ashley, and their four kids, Adali, 12; Jett, 11; Jax, 8; and Ada, 6 - live full-time in their so-called " tiny shiny home," journeying from California. Here's how they did it.

The journey to life off-grid Before becoming Tiny Shiny Home, Jonathan and Ashley had an interest in entrepreneurship. They explored business ideas like designing t-shirts, refinishing furniture, and blogging, and they dreamed of showing their kids the world one day. Then in 2015, the family of six decided to shake.

For the ninety ninth installment in our ongoing interview series here at Dirt Orcas, we are very pleased to share the story of The Longneckers. A family of six living and traveling full time in their Airstream. You may know them as @TinyShinyHome.

Our kids are amazing! They're a huge reason we're traveling the US full-time - so we can spend more time with them and make memories we won't ever forget. Here's some of the things we've done with them. Jonathan & Ashley Longnecker and their 4 kids are building naturally and sustainably off-grid in Cochise County, Arizona providing wholesome entertainment and useful educational resources for.

This family of 6 first downsized from a typical American home into a 5th wheel trailer some five years ago, and then downsized (again!) into their Tiny Shiny Home: A renovated, off-grid-friendly, Airstream! Because dad Jonathan works from home already, and the kids were homeschooled, they had what they needed to transition to full. Meet Jonathan and Ashley, also known as @tinyshinyhome. They have four kids and traveled full-time for 5 years in their Airstream before settling down on their own off-grid property in Southeastern Arizona.

They are a family truly pushing the limits to the word 'unconventional.' They are now building earthbag/hyperadobe structures in the desert using the earth from their land. Don't know what. Jonathan & Ashley Longnecker are building an off.
