STBP Direct Procurement
As of 1 January 2015 the UNOPS Geneva office will be hosting the Stop Tuberculosis (TB) Partnership (STBP). The Board of the Stop Tuberculosis Partnership (STBP) approved the transition of the secretariat’s hosting and administrative arrangements from the World Health Organisation (WHO), as the original hosting since the Partnership’s foundation in 2001, to UNOPS. The purpose of STBP is to realize the goal of elimination of tuberculosis as a public health problem and, ultimately, to obtain a world free of tuberculosis. In order to achieve this, STBP manages the Global Drugs Facility (GDF), the TB REACH, and the Challenge Facility, which provide a broad range of procurement, grants and advocacy activities, as well as a leading coordination role at national, regional and global levels. In this context, UNOPS Geneva will be providing a broad range of back-office implementation services, such as HR, procurement, finance, reporting, etc. This project is for the component of the STBP funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the GDF.
