Among the types of Personal Data that UnPrint collects, either directly or through third parties, there are: cookies; usage data; device identification [for advertising purposes only (Google Advertiser ID or IDFA or similar)]; name; surname; e-mail; gender; date of birth; permission to access the camera (without storing nor recording data); data that you share while using the service.
Full details of each type of collected Personal Data can be found in the dedicated sections of this Privacy Policy or in specific explanatory texts displayed before the collection of Data takes place.
Personal Data is provided by the User by their own free will and with their consent, under the General Regulation on Data Protection (GDPR). Theseconditions are also applicable in the case of Usage Data (cookies), collected automatically when using UnPrint.
Except in the cases when the User is informed otherwise, all Data requested by UnPrint is strictly necessary and relevant to its operations, and the failure to receive this Data may make it impossible for UnPrint to provide its Services.
In cases where UnPrint specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free to stop communicating this Data without there being consequences on the availability or operation of the Service.

The use of cookies —or of any other tracking tool—, by UnPrint or by the owners of third party services that UnPrint uses, will have the specific purpose of supplying the requested services to the User, in addition to the purposes described in this document and in the UnPrint Cookie Policy.
Users are responsible for any Personal Data belonging to third parties that is obtained, published, or shared through this Service (UnPrint) and hereby confirm they have the authorization of such third parties to provide the Data to the Data Controller.
The controller will adopt appropriate security measures to prevent any unauthorized access to the Data as well as any disclosure, alteration or destruction of the Data.
Data processing is performed using computers and / or appropriate IT tools, following organizational procedures and resorting to means strictly relating to the indicated purposes.
In addition to being accessed by the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data can be accessed by people involved in the operations related to this Service (UnPrint) (administration, sales, marketing, billing, legal system administration) or external people (such as service providers, technicians, IT companies, communication agencies, consultants, auditors) appointed, when necessary, as subcontractors. The updated list of these subcontractors can be requested to the Controller at any time.

In any case, the Controller will willingly cooperate to clarify the legal basis that applies to the processing, especially if the provision of Data is a mandatory requirement under law or contract, or a necessary requirement to execute a contract.
The data is processed at the Operations Headquarters of the Controller, and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located, while always ensuring the requirements of legal compliance and security of Data processing are met.
Users also have the right to be informed about the legal basis for Data transfers to countries outside the European Union or to any international organizations governed by international law or formed by two or more countries, such as the UN, and about the security measures taken by the Controller to protect the User's Data.

Personal Data will be processed and stored for as long as it is necessary in order to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.

The Data Controller may be allowed to store Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent for such processing, as long as the authorization has not been withdrawn. In addition, the Data Controller may be obliged to store Personal Data for a longer period whenever it is required that the Controller does so for the fulfilment of a legal obligation or in compliance with a mandate of an authority empowered to that effect.
As soon as the storage period ends, the Personal Data will be deleted. In this way, the right to access, the right to delete, the right to rectify and the right to Data portability cannot be enforced after the storage period has expired.
User Data is collected to allow the Data Controller to provide its services and fulfil its legal obligations, respond to requests for judicial executions, protect its rights and interests (or those of its Users or third parties), and detect any malicious or fraudulent activity.
The Data Subject can allow Data to be processed for the purposes of: contacting the User, gathering statistics, building storage and backend infrastructure, advertising, providing platform and hosting services, performing registration and authentication operations, viewing content from external platforms, and providing anti-spam protection.

Depending on the User's specific device, UnPrint may request certain permissions to gain access to Data in the User's device as described below.
By definition, these permissions must be granted by the User before said Data can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time.
In order to revoke these permissions, Users must consult their device settings or contact the Data Controller in order to receive support, using the contact information provided in this document.
The exact procedure for controlling the permissions granted may depend on the User's devices and software.
Revoking permissions may affect the proper functioning of UnPrint.

UnPrint will not store nor record what is captured by the camera. This functionality is required only for reading bar codes.

Google uses the collected Data to track and examine the use of UnPrint, to prepare reports on activities and to share them with other Google services. Firebase Notifications is a messaging service provided by Google LLC or Google Ireland Limited, depending on the location from which UnPrint is accessed. Firebase Notifications can be integrated with Firebase Analytics to target available information to identified audiences through data analysis.
Firebase Cloud MessagingFirebase Cloud Messaging is a messaging service provided by Google LLC or Google Ireland Limited, depending on the location from which UnPrint is accessed. Firebase Cloud Messaging allows Unprint to send messages and notifications to users through platforms such as Android and iOS. Messages can be sent to individual devices, groups of devices, subscribers of specific topics or specific user segments.
UnPrint asks the User to enable certain permissions that authorize it to access the Data on the User's device as stated in this document.

This type of service analyses the activity of the service (UnPrint), potentially containing Personal Data of Users, in order to filter messages and content recognized as SPAM.

By registering or authenticating and accepting the terms and conditions of use, Users allow UnPrint to identify them, and allow UnPrint to access the inherent services. Direct registration (UnPrint)The user can register directly with UnPrint, filling out the registration form and providing the respective Personal Data.

All Users who register directly with Unprint grant it authorization for the processing of the Data they provide when registering.
UnPrint Users, by subscribing to the use of the app, expressly authorize the company that owns it, “Something Apps — Soluções Tecnológicas, Lda.”, to process their Personal Data in the strict operations scope of managing the app with the goal of providing the service in which it is embodied; Users authorize as well that Personal Data may be provided to third parties, and / or communicated by third parties to the same company, always with the goal and within the scope of the provision of the UnPrint service.
This data processing authorization is extended to employees of the company that owns the app in the exercise of their functions under the authority and direction of the company and in the strict interest of the respective Holder, to provide the corresponding service to UnPrint.
This type of service allows the User to view and interact with content stored on external platforms directly from the UnPrint pages.
This type of service may also collect web traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when users are not using them.
Google FontsGoogle Fonts is a directory that allows access to a library of licensed free fonts provided by Google LLC or Google Ireland Limited, depending on the location from which UnPrint is accessed, which allows UnPrint to incorporate content from that directory into its platform.
UnPrint may send push notifications to the User in order to meet the goals described in this privacy policy.
In most cases, Users will be able to opt out of receiving push notifications by accessing their equipment's settings and changing them.
