Toyota will rollout a bevy of van concepts at this year's Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo, headlined by an all-electric HiAce that previews the tailpipe emissions-free future of the long-running light-commercial vehicle (LCV). Toyota will reportedly use its new dedicated electric e-TNGA platform for an electric HiAce van, due in 2025. The next Toyota HiAce could debut in 2025 with an electric powertrain, according to industry rumours - but it's unclear if it would replace, or be sold alongside today's diesel.

The HiAce is set to hit dealerships by February 2025, with Toyota aiming to compete in the growing electric van market alongside models like the Ford e.
