I have a ceiling light in my bathroom with a pull cord to switch it on and off. The cord itself has broken from the rest of the switch and the light is stuck on at the moment. The pull just doesn't do anything, at the same time the shower switch which looks like a big square box with a light on that says 'on' or 'off' with a pull cord also stays on and wont turn off when the cord is pulled, however the cord for the extractor fan works fine and pulls on and off.
