Brad Jones Racing has already started work on what will be its first Toyota GR Supra Supercar. Announced last weekend, BJR will join Walkinshaw Andretti United in the Toyota fold next year when the Japanese giant joins Supercars. Signing the Albury-based squad takes Toyota's fleet to six Supras.

First BJR Toyota Supra hits milestone Brad Jones Racing has reached an important milestone with its first Toyota Supra build as body panels start to go onto the chassis. Toyota Supra supercars are coming to Supercars 2026 as part of a Brad Jones Racing build that includes a Gen3 Supra and repurposed Camaros for the grid. This Brad Jones Racing build is the team's most ambitious yet, marking its transition away from Chevrolet and into Toyota's expanding Supercars program.

The first ever Gen3 GR Supra was unveiled Monday in Sydney, assembled by homologation team Walkinshaw Andretti United. That car, chassis WR 030, has since begun testing with Neil Crompton, Warren Luff, Fabian Coulthard and Macauley Jones all having been scheduled to turn laps at Winton. Watch the below.

BJR shows off its first Toyota Supra Supercars build Brad Jones is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look as his Supercars team's first Gen3 Toyota Supra comes to life ahead of 2026. Since 2021, BJR has operated its own in-house four-car model. That model will continue into 2026 under the team's new life as a Supra squad, with Heimgartner confirmed at the team for the coming season.

Jones revealed in May that the first BJR Toyota chassis build is underway, with the team revealing progress of the build in recent weeks.
