Nuggety, brutal, bison-like yeah, OK. But how can you not admire its sheer atavistic gronkness? So, its super comfy, has all the bells and whistles, goes like a bastard (albeit rather deceptively because it's just so good-natured about it), can carry giga-tonnes of stuff (no, that's not a fat-shaming thing), has way over 450km fuel-range, and is essentially an access all areas kinda bike. The premium, plush BMW R1200GS Adventure Triple Black is an adventure bike that's as at home on the dirt as it is on the tarmac.

The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure comes with a reputation that is as large as its sheer road presence. It holds legendary status amongst adventure bike and touring riders alike and the new generation model was going to have to be exceptional to keep the GS faithful satisfied. So we took to the road with two new Triple Black variants, one with BMW's ASA which stands for Automatic Shift Assistant.
