Bmw G450x Adventure Bike

The 2010 BMW G450X is here now, and the clouds are beginning to part. The new 450 is a single machine meant to contend in both the dual. One of those projects that received skepticism initially, but deserves revisiting, is the BMW X-series line up, built from the late 2000s through the early 2010s: G450X, G650X, and HP2.

In 2007, BMW was all in for the new X-line, including launching a marketing campaign entailing rally events featuring the likes of Jimmy Lewis. The G450X's internal BMW model code is K16. The motorcycle's name follows the naming convention for BMW motorcycles.

Any old timers or semi old timers have any experience with this bike? Actual, hands on experience? Lots of old internet reviews but not much from actual owners. Offered in 2009-2010, then Husky used the engine starting in 2011 when BMW took ownership.
