Check Toyota Build Status

I was wondering I put a deposit on a '22 Corolla from my local dealer and told the car is "being built". I already have the VIN. Is there someplace I can check with the VIN and see the status of the build and when I might expect it? The dealer is just saying "6-8 weeks".

Thanks! There used to be a website to track order status / build status by assigned VIN but that's no longer available. Now there's no online method to track your order so the only way is to ask your dealer for status updates.

Personally I would like to know if any dates are stored for each of the order-build-delivery status events but I can't see any now that the order is at the dealer. Moral of the story, just ask your dealer for the new link for the spec sheet (not the PDF) and follow the same instructions. The ETA will not show up though, Toyota scrapped that so you just get a letter category as discussed in the document.
