Bmw 440i Coupe Vs Convertible

I am trying to decide between a fully loaded 440i Coupe and a not so fully loaded 440i Convertible. I will be driving this car in Minnesota. What do you guys recommend? My heart says Convertible but my mind says Coupe as I can install a lot more bells and whistles for the $9000 price difference.
