P Trap Leaking At Nut . I am now seeing a leak where the stub out connects with the p trap held together by the nut. Now it leaks very slowly overnight from the top of the nut.

I am now seeing a leak where the stub out connects with the p trap held together by the nut. I put teflon tape on the thread of the bottom part of p trap, so it stopped leaking from bottom of nut. I tried adding an 1 1/4 rubber washer over the lip but then i can't screw the nut down onto the trap threads.
