Affordable Coffee Tables Reddit

Anyway, most places I look coffee tables are like $200+, C&B, R&B, West Elm, Pottery Barn, all the nice places. I want a decent coffee table (not just a rectangle from IKEA), but don't want to break the bank on something that will probably end up having feet on it, mugs/cups, etc. Any suggestions on places I may not be thinking of? Ashley? HOM?

There I was able to acquire some furniture pieces such as the egg chair and Le Corbusier sofa and so far the quality has been great. For $1,000, I'd seriously consider a commissioned piece from a local woodworker.

Do some research on who you like in the area, who fits your budget, and then specifically on what you want the coffee table to do. I don't expect any furniture store too have the level of quality you want. r/woodworking can probably point you in the right direction.
