Displays included the history of the building of the Abbey, monastic life, and the Abbey's impact on the community, the architecture and sculptures of the buildings, and the role of the Abbey in present. The Friends of Oleksandriya present a concert at Bath Abbey to mark the third anniversary of the full. Final preparations are underway for a special concert of Ukrainian music and culture in Bath on Monday (24th February), to mark three years since Russia's full scale invasion of the country. The evening at Bath Abbey will showcase talent from Ukraine including pianist and composer Mariia Yaremak and singer Nicole Medin, as well as the Argyle String Orchestra and the Bath Voices for Life. Bath Abbey is hosting a concert of warmth and light, which will take place at 7pm on February 24th, the first anniversary of the Russian invasion into Ukraine.

The concert will feature local Ukrainian singer, Nicole Medin, a crystal voice telling a story which evokes the desperate plight of the Ukrainian people. Musicians in Bath are joining forces to raise much-needed funds for the people of Ukraine in their hour of need. Come and hear a variety of music performed by Bath Bach Choir, the Argyle String Orchestra and the Walcot State Choir, plus guest speakers, all in the beautiful surroundings of Bath Abbey.
