I have a fun surprise Saturday blog post! I recently did a bedroom makeover for good friends of mine. And this might be my favorite bedroom makeover yet! We painted the furniture, painted the walls, changed the fan, got new bedding, built a window seat and so much more! You have to see the after HERE! Their primary bedroom was nice, but it was missing that cozy feeling, which can be harder to achieve with really tall vaulted ceilings.

We painted their walls dark, added a light fixture, swapped their rug for a rug that complimented the new colors and added the softest bedding. Wait until you see the changes! That was certainly the case for the lucky family Brooke Christen of Nesting With Grace selected for a room makeover.

The Lovig family of Connecticut, who have three young children and one on the way, used the mudroom off of their garage more than their actual front door. Affordable bedroom makeover for the win! Got her a bed, bedding, art and a rug for about $1000! We gave the walls a fresh coat of paint, Pigeon from Farrow & Ball. We ended up painting the trim and doors too.

It felt like it made the room look more upscale and moody. The previous owners had some trim painted white, but the bed would have covered it up too much and would have been odd to see.
