Disney Characters That Should Be Princesses

Disney can be pretty picky about who they let into their elite circle, but we think it's time these characters joined the club. Welcome to MsMojo and today we'll be counting down our picks for the Top 10 Characters That Should Be Official Disney Princesses. Even for characters who become princesses in their films, like Dot and Anna, they still didn't get acknowledged as Official Disney Princesses.

While the Disney Princess line only includes 12 princesses officially, there are several more role models in Disney movies that should, based on their characters, be included in the official lineup, or at least count as honorary Disney Princesses. There are some requirements that Official Disney Princesses have to meet. They have to look to be human, be married or be born into royalty, and/or do something heroic in their movie.

The ideal candidates include Cinderella, Mulan, Tiana, and Moana. But occasionally, despite receiving the crown or being hailed as heroes, well. When it comes to Official Disney Princesses, there are specific criteria they must go by.
