Setting Up Your Calligaris Extendable Dining Table: A Step-by-Step Guide
Transform your dining space with the versatile and stylish Calligaris extendable dining table. This guide will walk you through the simple process of assembling and extending your table for perfect hosting, every time.
Unboxing and Understanding Your Table
Before you begin, ensure you have all the necessary components. Your Calligaris extendable dining table should come with:
- Table top
- Table base
- Extension leaves (if applicable)
- Assembly hardware and instructions
Assembling the Table Base
The table base is the foundation of your dining experience. Here's how to assemble it:
- Lay out the base components: the central column, the two side supports, and the feet.
- Attach the feet to the side supports using the provided screws and a screwdriver. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Align the central column with the side supports, then attach them using the provided bolts and an Allen wrench. Tighten securely.
Attaching the Table Top
Now that your base is assembled, it's time to attach the table top:
- Carefully lift the table top and position it onto the base.
- Secure the table top to the base using the provided screws and a screwdriver. Ensure it is level and stable.
Extending Your Table (If Applicable)
One of the key features of a Calligaris extendable dining table is its ability to accommodate more guests. Here's how to extend it:
- Lift the table top slightly to access the extension mechanism.
- Gently pull out the extension leaves to the desired length. You can extend it to seat 6, 8, or more, depending on your table model.
- Lower the table top back down, ensuring it is level and secure.
Caring for Your Calligaris Extendable Dining Table
To keep your table looking its best, follow these care tips:
- Use coasters to protect the table top from moisture and heat.
- Wipe spills immediately with a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Never place hot items directly on the table top.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
While rare, you may encounter issues with your extendable dining table. Here are some common solutions:
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Table top wobbles when extended | Ensure all screws and bolts are tightened securely. If the issue persists, contact Calligaris customer service. |
| Extension leaves are difficult to pull out | Lubricate the extension mechanism with a small amount of wax or silicone spray. If the issue persists, contact Calligaris customer service. |
