Premium Materials for Unmatched Quality

Irish Murphy's uses only the finest materials in the construction of their pool tables. The slate beds, for instance, are sourced from the best quarries in Europe, ensuring a true and consistent playing surface. The legs and rails are made from solid wood, chosen for its strength, durability, and aesthetic appeal. The felt, meanwhile, is of the highest quality, providing a smooth and consistent roll for the balls.

The use of these premium materials is not just about creating a high-quality product; it's also about sustainability. Irish Murphy's believes in creating furniture that will stand the test of time, reducing the environmental impact of waste and landfill.

History and Heritage

The story of Irish Murphy's Pool Tables is a tale of family, tradition, and resilience. The company was founded by John Murphy in 1936, a time when Ireland was still recovering from the Great Depression. Despite the economic hardships, John Murphy saw an opportunity to create something lasting and meaningful. He began crafting pool tables in his small workshop, using the skills he had learned from his father and grandfather before him.

Today, Irish Murphy's is still a family-run business, now in its fourth generation. The company has weathered many storms over the years, from economic downturns to global pandemics, but it has always emerged stronger, a testament to the Murphy family's unwavering commitment to their craft.

A Global Presence

While Irish Murphy's Pool Tables are deeply rooted in Irish soil, their reach extends far beyond the Emerald Isle. The company's tables can be found in homes, bars, and billiard halls across the globe, from the United States to Australia, from Europe to Asia. Despite this global presence, each table remains a labor of love, crafted with the same care and attention to detail as the very first one.

Customization and Personalization

One of the standout features of Irish Murphy's pool tables is the level of customization they offer. Each table is made to order, allowing customers to choose every detail, from the size and shape of the table to the type of wood and the color of the felt. This level of personalization ensures that every Irish Murphy's pool table is a unique reflection of its owner's style and personality.

Irish Murphy's also offers a range of custom inlays and carvings, allowing customers to add a personal touch to their table. Whether it's a family crest, a favorite quote, or a beloved pet's name, these customizations turn a pool table into a cherished family heirloom.
