Well, hello! My name is Anna Geiger. I'm a former teacher (M.Ed.) and mom of six. I was a balanced literacy advocate for twenty years.

I've been supporting teachers with my printable resources since 2013. I admit it I was all in on balanced literacy, and I felt my world turn upside down when I began learning about the science of reading. It turned out that many of the teaching practices I held dear did not align with research.
