Kitchen Worktop Wrap Reddit

Have a very old kitchen that I think the previous owner installed back in the 2000s. The home needs a lot of work but I'm not sure I want to redo the kitchen yet. So, I'm thinking vinyl wrap is an option.

Have you done it? Does it look alright? Was it very fiddly, and do you have any advice for making it easier? I would be installing it on my own, probably, so wouldn't have a second pair of hands. I understand the consensus on here will be to do it myself but just wanted general thoughts on wrapping kitchen cupboards and worktop. Does anyone have any experience who can comment on quality and durability.

Now, when writing up the kitchen reveal, I did promise to review how this solution is holding up in my kitchen, and provide some guidance on how to wrap a worktop in vinyl, if this is an option you consider. I do stupid things like cut things with Stanley knives and paint things on the worktops so I'm not allowed nice worktops!
