Mind you, for a facelift, the future BMW 7 Series will be a big departure from the outgoing one, and we do not necessarily think that this styling does justice to the brand's Audi A8 and Mercedes.

The current G70 BMW 7 Series has been on sale since 2022, and that means it's nearly time for a refresh. Spy photographers camped alongside the Nürburgring have spotted the 2027 7 Series LCI. The 7-Series' controversial split-headlight design appears to be going away with the update BMW's current 7-Series is approaching the midway point of its lifecycle and, in traditional BMW fashion.

BMW's 2027 7 Series facelift has been spotted on the Autobahn with split headlights, a rear light bar, and iDrive X tech. Production starts in 2026. BMW is working on the facelift versions of the 7 Series and i7 models and it's expected to launch sometime in late 2025.
