I will be replacing my current 65 inch KS8000 with the LG. I also have purchased the Monoprice bracket that allows the TV to be lowered in front of the fireplace. Knowing it's going to be wider than my fireplace, I'm already considering options to help with the optics, like "extending" the fireplace with shelves or something.

From TV location on wall to the couch seat it is around 150in, which comes out to 107 per the above math. The room is wider than it is deep. The shorter distance being the distance I measured above (13.5ft x 26ft roughly).
