Loving my new 19 Corolla Hatchback : r/Toyota

The dealer I bought mine from said they get one hatchback for every 50. So I've been looking to get a new car for a while now but can't decide which one. My main options are a Corolla hatchback, a civic hatchback, and a Mazda 3 hatchback all in a manual of course.

My question is what made you get a Corolla hatchback instead of a different hatchback. Thank you. Just picked up a 2022 Corolla hatchback 6 Mt after My 2009 Toyota 5 Mt Matrix blew up at 415,xxx miles hopefully I'll get similar miles out of the 2.0.

I used to have a 2019 Corolla SE sedan and the corolla Hatchback is just so much better. Fit and finish and the overall driving experience is just so much better. Performance of the corolla hatchback beats the Honda Civic in city driving by far w/ updated screen and safety tech.

(Pre collision braking, lane trace etc) The value of the corolla hatchback with a nice set of wheels and sound system is in line with base model performance cars. It seems like the hatchback should be a better car. So if people actually would prefer them, but they can't get them, why doesn't Toyota just shift to make more hatchbacks and fewer sedans?
