Black Bathroom Vanity Reddit

My wife's vanity I found on Houzz and custom built an additon to her vanity. My bathroom, I had a cabinet guy build it. My bathroom, I needed an unconventional size, 27 inches.

The reason being, the original vanity I replaced was 24 inches. This left gap of 3 inches between the wall. I wanted that space.

Where do you buy your vanities? We bought a small one from home depot for our rarely-used 1/2 bath, but I am not thrilled with the quality particle board, ugh. I'm looking for something that's more durable for our high-use bathroom, what stores/brands do you recommend? My budget is $1k for a single sink 48" vanity. Thanks!

I converted an old bedroom-sized vanity into a sink/vanity by plumbing it with water and drain lines, and adding a clear glass sink and a waterfall faucet. Turned out pretty nice. Have to replace bathroom vanity and I honestly have never thought about bathroom vanities before.

What are things you like/hate about yours, thoughts about wall mounted vs. with legs vs. solid to the floor, countertops, sinks, what are other things I need to think about?

Anyone with black bathroom floors have any advice, would you pick differently? I've read they are hard to keep clean and im holding on to hope that someone loves their black bathroom floor! I'd hang something larger over the toilet to contrast with the smaller art on the other wall. I saw you said that you can't remove the drop ceiling but maybe you can paint it black to blend in a little more? Or replace the tiles with decorative tiles like this - search for "Art3d-Ceiling tiles" would instantly upgrade the ceiling.

If you can afford it, I would swap out the vanity entirely for something new. The rest of the bathroom looks completely transformed and simply painting the vanity cabinet, unless it's done very very well, will cheapen the look of the remodel. As others have said, grey would look best but black would look okay too.
