Why Does Grey Look Brown To Me

The color gray can sometimes appear to have brownish undertones or highlights. This can occur for several reasons relating to lighting, material composition, visual perception, and color mixing. Well, it does look gray, but the way it's illuminating it might be a situation of light, it might just be brown depending on what light is reflecting. TL;DR looks like a really gray brown. cyan/gray: All shades of blue-green look truly colorless to me.

It looks red to me on my phone and browny-red on my laptop, but if I open the picture in a new window it looks more red so presumably the black surround makes a difference. Edit: I have looked again during daylight and it looks more like brown with tints of red on both my phone and laptop.
