Clean them off, and make a note to check them both in 5000km. I change my engine oil every 5000km, FD every 10000km and gearbox annually. Pick yourself up a small funnel, preferably with a flexible end on it. And a bigger one for the engine oil while you are at it. Otherwise, fashion the small one out of aluminum foil.
