To achieve this, we'll follow the RCA process and create an action plan with clear, measurable steps.
Step 1: Identify the Problem

The problem in this case is clear: excessive production downtime, currently averaging 10 hours per week. This issue impacts productivity, increases costs, and may lead to delayed orders.
To quantify the problem, we calculate the current downtime percentage: (10 hours/168 hours) x 100% = 6%. Our goal is to reduce this to 3% or less.
Step 2: Gather Data
