Shadow Box Wedding Invitation Ideas

Next month my lovely friend and co-worker Sarah G. will marry her sweetheart Daniel, so I made the shadow box shown above to commemmorate their upcoming special day. Using the wedding invitation as the main focus of the shadow box, (I blurred out the vital invitation info for this post to protect their privacy), I added some nice rustic touches like the burlap, lace and aged paper flowers to coordinate with the barn wood frame of the shadow box.

November 9, 2025 -Each DIY wedding shadow box keepsake will be entirely different as they are created for that couples’ wedding vision. Incorporating as many wedding elements as possible is what is going to make this keepsake gift so touching to give. For this project, the archway was probably the most involved element to the finished design.

As far as instructions, I basically got ideas from youtube. I used tulle as a background. Then I pinned my garters down, used glue dots to adhere my invite and table number....bought artificial flowers from Michael's and put it together to be reminiscent of my bouquet.
