I am utterly confused as to why anyone would want a door (bipass, hinged, bifold, etc) on a closet when a curtain is easier to open, gives you 100% open access to the entire closet, does not need floor space dedicated to the swing of the door, and can easily be an aesthetic accessory in the room. Off to Ikea tomorrow (mad on a Sunday, I know) to order some Pax wardrobes. DH is keen to have the open ones, without doors but I'm worried everything will just get dusty? Does anyone have open ones and would you recommend?
