Worthy ("the App") is developed and operated by Sandeep Mysore. This policy explains exactly what data the app handles and why. It is written to be precise rather than reassuring: where data leaves your device, we say so.
Each time you ask Worthy to value a product, the following is sent over HTTPS to Worthy's valuation service (a Google Cloud Run endpoint) so it can generate clarifying questions and compute a personal value:
The valuation service calls Google's Gemini API to generate the questions and the valuation, then returns the result. The service processes this data in memory to answer your request and does not retain it after the response is delivered.
If you attach a photo of a product, the image is included in the valuation request so the model can use it as context. The image is not retained on our servers after the response is returned, and is never published or shared with anyone else.
Worthy does not run analytics, does not show ads, and does not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs.
Worthy's one-time unlock is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Worthy does not receive, store, or have access to your payment details.
All your profile data and valuation history live only on your device. To delete everything: open Worthy, go to Settings, and tap "Reset all data." Uninstalling the app also removes all local data.
Data sent to the valuation service is not retained after each response is returned, so there is nothing further to delete there.
Worthy is not directed at users under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We'll update this page if our practices change, with an updated revision date at the top.
