Bmw R1200 Fuse Box Location
I managed the blow up the powerlet fuse (5A according to manual). I couldn't find any paragraph in the manual about location of the fuse box on R1200GSA 2009. Where is the fuse box located? I connected a 12v compressor to powerlet and I believe the 5A fuse specified in the book for powerlet.

I know it's under the seat but I'm not seeing what the manual shows. Not a big fan of taking things apart that I'm not sure (from. The main fuse box on a 2013 BMW R1200RT is located under the seat.
To access it, remove the seat by unlocking the latch. Inspect the fuses for any signs of damage or corrosion. Replace blown fuses with the exact amperage rating.

The cheapest thing on a BMW is the nut that connects the handlebars to the seat. wang46, the fuse protection on the BMW 1200RT is handled by the ZFE module (body computer) for most driven circuit protection. The other minor circuits are protected by their respective control modules.
There are no replaceable or accessible fuses in the 1200RT. (kind of like automatically re-settable circuit breakers). There are no fuse boxes on the R1200GS motorcycles.
It is managed by the electronic fuses-equipped CanBus system. When one trips, it automatically resets after 15 minutes, but if the related issue is not fixed, it will trip once more. You will never find it.
The R1200RT has no fuse panel. It has a CANBus system which is like a breaker panel that resets itself when you turn the ignition Off/On. Hi My GSA 2015 seem to have a fan problem and the temperature comes close to boiling point of water.
It doesn't start anymore. Can someone help me with that? First think is to check the fuse to the fam but witch one it is and were it is located? The second thing to do is to check the fan.
