Of course, it's still an S85 so it had to live up to its reputation and throw a check engine light misfire back in to the mix. Last year we shared a BMW E92 M3 track project receiving several powertrain and suspension upgrades. The owner is swapping the factory 4.0 L S65 V8 and seven-speed DCT for a 5.0 L S85 V10 and Drench DG500 six-speed sequential transmission.
The coupe is also receiving Intrax Suspension 4-way adjustable coilovers with remote reservoirs, AP. Therefore, as long as both DME and DCT module are connected to each other via PT-CAN, we might be surprised and it actually just works. There's a guy in Germany putting a DCT in an E30 with an S85.
