I've always heard the joke that if you can't afford a BMW new, you definitely can't afford it used:) And also, the reason I'm considering BMW is that Audi is just a fancy VW, and Mercedes is for old people. Porsche would be nice but they get really expensive really fast. I found a BMW X1 in on CarMax and they are shipping it for free from another state for a test drive.
Price: 31K I recently moved to Seattle from Delhi and this would be my first car in the US. Details of this car: 1. Purchased in Dec, 2022.
X1 xdrive 28i 2023 model 2. Only one owner, 26K miles on it. I think it was used as a rental 3.
Still under BMW warranty and I am thinking of getting. Finally if you feel that you have to take the vehicle to a BMW dealer for service and repairs, I would avoid buying one. If you are OK with doing your own maintenance or using an indy, they are probably OK.
The BMW warranty and keeping things stock were why I went with MPPSK. Things were cheaper when I got my bimmers 2 years ago, so can't really say if things are worth it anymore π Nice! That's also something to watch out for when shopping for a used BMW. BMW squeezes more out of engines and suspensions than most other traditional manufactures, specifically in terms of power, emissions (for the generated power) and overall driving dynamics.
