Which tires are best for the G82 BMW M4? BMW is shipping cars out with P Zeros and some cars have PS4S? You cannot chose when you buy the car but what should you replace them with and why? Thoughts on tyres for G8x I'm quite happy with RFT PS4S, except for the price tag of replacing a tyre. At 1000km had a screw go into the side of the rear tyre, and replacing it at the dealer was 1K! Replacing a PS4S on my previous C43 was $400! More recently had another screw go straight in the middle of the tyre, - so, was a patch fix for $50.
PS4s* on rear (G8X) and non star Ps4s on front PS4s* on rear PSS* on front - as others have done Conti 7s - no star rating but the same tyre front and rear with brilliant performance dry/rain/cold, add to that they were actually better priced when I bought as well, although I think that gap has narrowed now? Ah thanks. This just makes it more difficult to find decently priced tires. I spent $740 per rear tire for PS4s and they're not * star rated.
If I had to buy through my dealership I'm sure I'd pay astronomically more. Quite ridiculous really. Good thing I'm not trying to shave time off of any laps.

No more traction control light flash like ps4s, especially in wet or rain, still stable. I use this sc7 from December 2022, till now 30k km. The rear tires need to be changed, acceptable wearing.
So if you have a car with big torque, sc7 is better; need good grip in rain? Sc7.
