Start Assistant Inactive Bmw E90

Recently my 2008 BMW 328i coupe started having an issue where it would not start when pressing the press to start button, all dash lights would illuminate however. I have to take the fob out and try it again sometimes twice for it to start.
Once started, I'm good, no issues. When I turn off my car, and take the fob out, the tail lights flash and headlights flash like crazy, and the hazard. That's hill start assist inactive which holds the brake for 2 seconds before you start off so you don't roll.
There could be a fault in the component you replaced or you made a mistake calibrating it. I have had a lovely 2006 e91 with 52k for about 4 months. Driving the other day on a bumpy road and all of a sudden bong all the lights in the picture came up. I have scanned the car and it was a speed sensor on the front left.
Changed the sensor and the lights are still showing. They haven't gone off and are there as soon as I hit the start button.
