Babli ("the App") is a public speaking tool available on iOS that helps users improve their speaking skills by analyzing their recorded speeches. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your data is handled responsibly.

By using the app, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, you should not use Babli.

1. No Account Required

• Babli does not require you to create an account.
• Your activity is associated only with your iCloud account, which uses a non-personally identifiable ID.
• We do not collect names, emails, or other direct personal identifiers.

2. Audio Recordings

• Speech recordings are analyzed temporarily for feedback and scoring.
• After analysis, recordings are saved in your private iCloud and are not accessible to us.
• You have full control and can delete these recordings through the app.

3. Data Logged by Babli

• We log speech transcripts and analysis results (e.g., content, pace, grammar scores) on our servers for improvement and internal evaluation.
• These logs are not linked to personally identifiable information.
• We do not log or store the original audio files.

4. Third-Party Services

• We use trusted third-party services to enable in-app purchases and subscription management.
• These services may collect device identifiers or purchase-related data as required to process transactions and ensure entitlement delivery.
• No personally identifiable information (like name or email) is collected or stored by us in relation to purchases.
• These third parties are obligated to handle data securely and only for the purpose of providing purchase-related functionality within the app.
• We also use third-party services to analyze speech content and generate feedback. These services may temporarily process audio or transcripts strictly for analysis purposes and are not permitted to store or reuse your data.

5. Cloud Storage & Syncing

• Data is stored and synced using Apple’s CloudKit private database.
• This ensures your data stays secure, encrypted, and only accessible to you via your iCloud account.
• We never access or read your private iCloud data.

6. Limited Tracking

• Babli does not use advertising trackers, marketing identifiers, or cookies.
• Some anonymized usage data may be collected through third-party services to help us understand how the app is used and improve its functionality.
• This data is not linked to your identity and is used solely for performance monitoring and purchase validation.

7. Data Sharing

• We do not share your data with any third parties for marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes.
• All data processing is limited to the speech analysis function you initiate.

8. Data Deletion

• You can delete your recordings at any time from within the app.

9. Children’s Privacy

• Babli is intended for users aged 13 and older.
• We do not knowingly collect or store data from children under 13.
• If we discover that a child under 13 has used the app, we will delete any associated data promptly.

10. iCloud Storage Responsibility

• All recordings are stored in your private iCloud account.
• Any iCloud storage required for storing your speeches is your responsibility.
• Babli Premium may allow unlimited speech recordings, but does not include additional iCloud storage.
• We recommend ensuring your iCloud plan has sufficient storage to accommodate your usage.
