Why is Shadow's trail Yellow? Ever since I saw Shadow for the first time in a game I have always wondered why is his trail yellow, I mean I understand that black could be hard to follow especialy in Shadow the Hedgehog who has a dark atmosphere, but why not red. The reason it's yellow is because of his air shoes. Combining the energy from his air shoes and his speed = yellow trail You can see it in Sonic Prime too Idk if movie 3 will make his trail red or black or the normal yellow color.
