Paulding Village Council met in Regular Session on July 3, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building. Mayor Greg Reinhart called the meeting to order.

 

Finance Director Annette Hasch called roll with the following members present: Randy Daeger, Tim Boss, Barb Rife, Robert L. Boyd, and Ryan Mapes. Administrator Robert Fisher was also present.  Council member Dan Workman was absent, along with Solicitor Rachel L. Jones.

 

Robert L. Boyd motioned to approve the minutes of the June 19th Council meeting, seconded by Ryan Mapes. Vote: Robert L. Boyd, yea; Ryan Mapes, yea; Randy Daeger, abstain; Tim Boss, yea; Barb Rife, abstain.

 

Finance Director Annette Hasch requested a $25,000.00 advance from the General Fund (#101) to the Curbing Improvements Fund (#607). This is in place of getting a note for $25,000. Robert L. Boyd motioned to approve the advance of $25,000.00 from the General Fund to the Curbing Improvements Fund, seconded by Randy Daeger. Vote: all yea.

 

Finance Director Annette Hasch asked for consensus of council if anyone would like to have a hearing regarding liquor license transfer from Birdstone Inc. to Paulding Store, Inc. Consensus of council was that no hearing is needed.

 

 

Robert Fisher presented the Administrator’s Agenda. The agenda consisted of the following:

 

           

            Barb Rife motioned to approve the Administrator’s Agenda, seconded by Tim Boss. Vote: all yea.

 

 

Mayor Greg Reinhart relayed that the Mayor’s Court collected $1,660.00 for the month of June 2017.

 

Mayor Greg Reinhart has appointed John Bissell to the Planning Commission.

 

Mayor Greg Reinhart stated that he received a letter from State Representative, Craig Riedel’s office asking for project suggestions in our community that could be put in the 2018 State Capital Budget.

 

Robert L. Boyd motioned to pay the bills, seconded by Ryan Mapes. Vote: all yea.

·         Planning Commission—Tuesday, July 13, 2017 @ 4:30 p.m.

·         Utility Committee—Tuesday, July 13, 2017 @ 5:00 p.m.

·         Buildings & Grounds Committee—Tuesday, July 13, 2017 immediately after Utility Committee meeting.

·         Ordinance Committee—Tuesday, July 18, 2017 @ 5:00 p.m.

·         Finance Committee—Tuesday, July 18, 2017 immediately after Ordinance Committee meeting.

 

 

Randy Daeger motioned to adjourn, seconded by Robert L. Boyd. Vote: all yea.
