Paulding Village Council met in Regular
Session on October 2, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal
Building. Mayor Greg Reinhart called the meeting to order.
Finance Director Annette Hasch called
roll with the following members present: Randy Daeger, Tim Boss, Barb Rife, Robert
L. Boyd, Ryan Mapes, and Dan Workman. Administrator Robert Fisher was also
present, as was Solicitor Rachel L. Jones.
Ryan Mapes motioned to approve the
minutes of the September 18th Council meeting, seconded by Robert L. Boyd. Vote:
all yea.
Robert L. Boyd motioned to approve the minutes of the September 25th Council meeting, seconded by Ryan Mapes. Vote: Robert L. Boyd, yea; Ryan Mapes, yea; Randy Daeger, yea; Barb Rife, yea; Tim Boss, yea; Dan Workman, no.
Dave Burtch relayed that meet the
candidates will be October 3, 2017 at 8:00 at the Presbyterian Church. He also asked about the investment/donation
to the Downtown Revitalization group.
Ryan Mapes reported on the Utility
Committee that met on September 28, 2017.
The Utility General Rules were discussed during the meeting. There is no recommendation at this time. Another meeting will be set up to discuss
matter further.
Barb Rife reported on the Buildings
& Ground Committee meeting held on September 28, 2017. They talked about putting the Old Utility
Building up for bid again, but nothing was decided. Dave Burtch provided the committee with an
International Property Maintenance Code Manual.
It outlines residential and business rules and maintenance standards.
Ordinance No. 1536-17 re: An
Ordinance Granting Village Administrator Robert J. Fisher additional time
within which to relocate his residence within the corporation limits of the
Village of Paulding, Ohio was read for the first time.
Dan Workman motioned to suspend the rules and declare an emergency,
seconded by Robert L. Boyd. Vote: all yea.
Ryan Mapes motioned to approve the legislation, seconded by Dan Workman.
Vote: all yea.
Resolution No. 1325-17 re: A
Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rate as Determined by the Budget
Commission and Authorizing the Necessary Tax Levies and certifying them to the
County Auditor was read for the third time. Barb Rife motioned to approve the legislation, seconded by Randy
Daeger. Vote: all yea.
Robert Fisher presented the Administrator’s Agenda.

Mayor Greg Reinhart relayed that Paulding’s trick or
treat will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 5:30-7:00.
Randy Daeger motioned to pay the bills, seconded by Barb
Rife. Vote: all yea.

Workman motioned to adjourn, seconded by Robert L. Boyd. Vote: all yea.
