AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1508-15

DESIGNATING THE EXIT OF Rite Aid Pharmacy

 ON THE WEST SIDE OF NORTH WILLIAMS STREET IN THE VILLAGE

OF PAULDING, OHIO TO BE A “RIGHT TURN ONLY” EXIT AND DIRECTING

THE PLACEMENT OF “RIGHT TURN ONLY” SIGNS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

 

 

WHEREAS, at a meeting held on August 17, 2015, the Council of the Village of Paulding adopted and approved Ordinance No 1508-15 entitled, “DESIGNATING THE NORTHERN EXIT OF Rite Aid Pharmacy ON THE WEST SIDE OF NORTH WILLIAMS STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF PAULDING, OHIO TO BE A “LEFT TURN ONLY” EXIT AND DIRECTING THE PLACEMENT OF “NO LEFT TURN SIGNS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

 

WHEREAS, the Council of the Village finds that that it would be advisable to change the “no left turn” signs to “right turn only” signs at the exit of Rite Aid Pharmacy on the west side of North Williams Street and the same being done in the interest of public safety.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PAULDING, OHIO, AS FOLLOWS:

 

Section 1. Ordinance No. 1508-15 shall be repealed and is hereby replaced and amended to read in its entirety as follows:

 

Section 2. That right turn only shall be permitted from the exit of the Rite Aid Pharmacy on the west side of North Williams Street in the Village of Paulding, Ohio.

 

Section 3. That “right turn only” signs shall be erected at said exit.

 

Section 4. Violation of this ordinance shall be a minor misdemeanor and shall be punishable pursuant to the provisions of the Ohio Basic Code and/or the Ohio Revised Code and/or the ordinances and laws of the Village of Paulding.

 

Section 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public safety, health, peace and welfare; wherefore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and immediately after its passage.
