Defender comes pre-installed on all Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10
machines. It is quite easy to switch from any trial ware that came with
your computer or if you want to stop using any of the paid Anti-Virus programs
on the market today. Just uninstall your current Anti-Virus program and
Windows Defender will automatically see this and activate. It is always
recommended to verify it is active by opening Windows Defender immediately
after removing any other program. It may ask you to verify or enable the
software upon the first opening and that's it! Make sure it is updated
and you are protected!
