The Golden Rules of Magic
Practice, Practice, Practice:
Before you take your show to friends and family, practice until it's second nature. The tricks are simple, but seamless execution is what makes them magic.
Protect the Secret:
Once you explain the \"how,\" the mystery vanishes, usually followed by a deflating, \"Oh, is that it?\" You instantly go from the most fascinating person in the room to someone who just knows a gimmick. Keep them guessing. If pressed, use a witty deflection like, \"Quite well, I thought!\" or \"I'd love to tell you, but the Magicians' Union would revoke my license.\"
One and Done: Never repeat a trick for the same audience in the same sitting. The element of surprise is your biggest asset because they don't know what to look for. If you do it again right away, they will catch on. However, if they beg to see it again a week later, go for it—most people have the memory of a goldfish and will only remember that they loved it the first time.
Learn The Tricks: We offer a variety of workshops, there may be some tricks listed below that are not part of your magic workshop.
(If instructional videos are not appearing while using google chrome, use a different brower such as Microsoft or Firefox)
